Blow 'em up! Landing headshots is the key to getting that nice guaranteed double crit shot and watching pretty much everything disappear. Your only melee damage bonus are charges of Warp Siphon, but that's fine. You're bringing a dueling sword.
Just remember, Warp Siphon goes away when you put up shields to lower your cooldown for you.
