Divider

Blaze sword with blazing spirit and a crit blessing is optional, but I like cruching my dueling sword. Use primary fire to build up movement speed with mettle(skill), and use movement speed and primary fire to run down gunners, you should be able to matrix dodge most bullets if you put a little faith into the god-emperor for granting crits and dodge sliding.

Purgatus staff is the real powerhouse of the build, try to dump damage since most of your damage is coming from soul blaze, and mobility since the skill anticipation will make you slippery enough. Use dodge + slide to move around during fights. Primary and secondary fire will suppress enemies, making them really easy to move past. Suppression makes the horde really easy to control, you might not always be killing enemies, but between the staff and your walls, they shouldn’t be able to hit you and your team. 

Walls are awesome to slap anywhere, don’t be afraid to put down two in rapid succession if you have them. If you’re playing anything worth using a thought out build for, then you’ll have plenty of cool down from psykenetics aura(skill).

+3 stamina curio because dueling sword stamina low, and blocking monstrosities without kinetic deflection is cool.

I’ve had a lot of success with this build, it’s not the best at clutching but it has the tools to adapt to any situation, killing war crime levels of heretics with the secondary, gunner killing with the empathetic evasion(skill), holding chock points with the wall, elite and boss killing with the dueling sword and brain burst.
