Illisi Mk V Blaze Force Sword

  • Horde clear
  • Dealing with Specials & Elites at close range
  • Tanking Bosses (god forbid you have to)

Zarona Mk IIa Quickdraw Stub Revolver

  • Fast swap to kill hard targets if you don't have time to Brain Rupture
  • Killing Elites from range to generate stacks of Empowered Psionics

Playstyle

The playstyle is pretty straight forward. Basically with this build you will be getting stacks of Empowered Psionics with your pistol until you have 3 stacks. At which point you'll be mainly be prioritizing spending those points by popping the heads of Elites, thus refunding you a stack of Empowered Psionics.

Swap to your Illisi when a horde comes. the Illisi can easily cleave through tens of enemies at a time. Because you have Brain Rupture and a revolver, there's no need for a Deimos, and the powered up attack from the Illisi ignores enemy hit mass. Meaning that even if there are crushers or anything else in the crowd, your blade wont get stopped, allowing you to continue to shred entire swathes of heretics with each swing.

Swap to your Big Iron when the enemy is closing in and you won't be able to get a brain Rupture off before they get to you or you need to generate stacks of Empowered Psionics. Brain Rupture is good vs Crushers, but it can take up to 3 to kill one solo. But if you're strapped for time it can be a better option to dump 5 rounds into their face.

Kinetic Resonance + Vent + Empowered Psionics = extremely fast and powerful Brain Ruptures. Save Venting Shriek for when you need to crank off a lot of head pops in a short amount of time (Boss, Elite wave, etc)...

When you find yourself in said situation, Brain Rupture until 100% Peril, Vent, and machinegun out Brain Ruptures until you need to quell or until the enemy closes the gap.
