INTRO:

There are many Crit (Piety-Fury) Zealot build variations out there but this is mine!

I've tested and tried a lot of different combinations of the Crit build and honestly I believe this to be the best / most versatile (I have thousands of hours in DT so yeah I test a lot of stuff)

This build will work with most weapons so I made a..

MELEE WEAPON "CRIT BUILD" TIER LIST:

• S Tier - Melee Weapons
  • Eviscerator XV
    - Horizontal light attacks for optimal head cleaving. Vertical Revved Heavies. Revved light can kill Mutant.
    - Perks: Flak / Maniac
    - Blessings: Shred / Rampage
  • Devil's Claw VII
    - Better light attack pattern than Mk4 for killing mixed hordes with elites (it has a strikedown blended in)
    - Perks: Flak / Maniac
    - Blessings: Shred / Rampage
• AAA Tier - Melee Weapons
  • Crusher
  • ChainSword IV (old)
  • Devil's Claw IV
•  A Tier - Melee Weapons
  • Tactical Axes
  • Combat Blade III
    - While Combat blade is good on Crit build I believe there are better builds to play a Combat Blade
• B Tier - Melee Weapons
  • Eviscerator II
  • Heavy Swords
• C Tier - Melee Weapons
  • Combat Axes
  • Thunder Hammers
  • ChainAxes

RANGED WEAPON:

For Ranged Weapon ALWAYS take Laspistol. It's OP with Crit build. Thank me later.

Laspistol Mk II

• Perks: Carapace + Unyielding
• Blessings: Dumdum + Infernus
• Use: This is your Carapace / Boss killer. 
  Crit will apply Burn on bosses which ticks for a percentage of their HP. 
  Chastise of the Faithful will ignore armor which will help you delete Carapace
• Why Laspistol?
  • Very Accurate
  • Good at picking up targets
  • Firing it after using "Fury of the Faithful" makes it delete Crushers
  • It's a Crit weapon on a Crit build. The more you crit the more it benefits from it
  • Critting applies Infernus (Burn Stacks) which is GREAT for killing Bosses

CURIOS:

• Perk: 3x HP%
• Blessings: 
  • Stamina Regen %
  • Sprint Efficiency %
  • Anything you need/prefer

TALENTS:

You can always take the points out of "Redoubled Zeal" (2nd charge) and "Disdain" (Top left) and put them elsewhere. You can play around with some of the following:

• Main Alternative Options:
  • Toughness Damage Reduction Nodes
  • Second Wind: "Replenish 15% Toughness on Dodge"
  • Duelist: "+50% Finesse damage on Dodge"
• Other Alternative Options (not so great)
  • Desperation: "+20% Damage when you run out of stamina" 
    (requires Duelist - 2 points needed)
  • Shield of Contempt: "60% Damage Reduction every 10s" 
    (requires Emperor's Bullet - 2 points needed)
  • Swift Certainty: "10% Sprint Speed. Sprinting counts as Dodging" 
    (requires toughness damage reduction node - 2 points needed)

SYNERGIES: Main Build Idea

• Blazing Piety will help you crit more often
• Criting will proc Invocation of Death thus resetting your Combat Ability
• Using your Combat Ability: Fury of the Faithful will guarantee more:
  • Toughness Generation (+50 toughness)
  • Attack Speed (20% for 10s)
  • Stagger
  • Damage (+25% on next hit)
  • Crits (Guaranteed crit on next hit)
    Crits will "feed" Fury Rising which will help you keep higher uptime on Blazing Piety
• Using your Combat Ability: Fury of the Faithful grants you 2 more important Benefits:
  • Weapons with high "Finesse" damage will get more "weakspot critical hits"
    Finesse is basically Weakspot and Critical Damage on the weapon's Damage profile
  • Firing your Ranged Weapon during Fury of the Faithful makes all your shots ignore enemy armor
    In other words, you can delete Crushers by "charging" and firing at them
• Faithful Frenzy gives you +10% attack speed, therefore, more hits = more crits
• Every Crit will proc Enduring Faith: 50% Toughness Damage Reduction
• Every Crit will proc Scourge which applies bleed. 
  Hits on targets with Bleed Stacks have +10% crit chance.
  Bleeds and Crits basically feeding each other.
