HELBORE LASGUNIncredibly versatile weapon with great single target damage against all armors, at all ranges. Take the I, because the II fails many key breakpoints, and the III has a horrible bayonet attack. I and II Bayonet attack is surprisingly strong. It's very fast, damaging, long range, and precise for weakspot hits. Also, bayonet charging increases your movement speed, so use that for mobility. You can bayonet attack in the draw animation, and between phases in the reload animation.
POWER SWORD
Can also be a shovel, but I like the Power Sword for personal familiarity. It's really powerful for horde clear and single target damage through any armor. Strictly speaking, I think the Shovel could be better, because the Helbore bayonet sorta fills the niche of melee damage. In that case, shovel would round out the survivability aspects of the build. However, without Power Sword you would have really bad Carapace damage. The pros and cons need more testing on my end. Either weapon won't do you too wrong though. FIRETEAM
We take this because that's the only way to get enough points for everything else. To be fair, Helbore is very ammo efficient, even more so with Surgical + Lastrooper.
GRENADES + INFILTRATE
This is why you pick this build up. Infiltrate was recently changed so that grenades can be thrown underhand without breaking stealth. This gives this build huge clutch potential when you stealth, lob two grenades, and revive into a temporary zone of safety. At high intensities you get grenades back so fast with Demolition Team plus another one every 60 seconds. Infiltrate is also strong with the Helbore Lasgun to reposition and get distance so that you can use the gun's long range strengths.
ROLE
Play safe, play to not be the first one down. Pick off specials with your sniper rifle, lob grenades liberally to help your team out. Standard Veteran stuff, don't get too overzealous with cool stealth plays. Your stealth is a reactive button, rarely a proactive one. The moment someone goes down, you are IN. Hit stealth, underhand 2 nades, rez them. It's so easy and safe and helps your team be really resilient.
