Like using a revolver but hate that long af reload time in the heat of combat? Say less, introducing the most stylish way to play vet. Make your friends tell you to stop spinning your revolver in the middle of hordes then remind them its just a tactical reload mechanic!
How it works:
Never Reload: We are abusing "weapon speacialist" swap bonuses. While 3.3% of a clip on swap is piss poor most of the time, that part that says it rounds up is what we will be abusing. Killing one poxwalker or other trash with melee then clicking swap weapon 2x reloads a bullet, and since your full clip is 5, thats a jump from 3.3 to 20% on a keystone mod. That's some good value!
Ranged Death Ray: The revolver is balanced around reload time being slow, and without it its very strong. On top of that, you want to go for Point Blank above all else. It lets you do gross damage when it procs letting you drop big enemies in a pinch where you can't aim down sights. On top of that, if you know you need to do big ranged, killing 2 enemies gives you a guarenteed crit with weapons specialist while aiming down sights, provided you shoot in 2.5s, thanks to "weapons specialist" + "deadshot" + "point blank." Now that's a big ass bullet!
Blender Melee: I mean, the perks you take are almost every melee damage and finesse pip on the tree. Pop someone with your ranged to supercharge it and regain stamina. Did I mention you never run out of stamina? That's because if you run out of bullets you run out of stamina. There isn't really room for ammo eco in the build which means you want to melee when you can. Melee what you can and try not to miss too much, but if you can this build can be a pretty solid damage powerhouse for hordes and elites alike.
Get Outa Jail Cards: Your ability gives you the power to escape sticky situations, deal with problem enemies, or pick up teammates. You can also do objectives like decrypting for free.
Build Tech:
Ranged: Go shotgun for close ranged specialist, or go for a plas if you wanna brain off melt elites. Both run out of ammo faster and are slower to proc the build, but its an option.
Melee: I run shovel for the memes, but a MK III Sword or better yet the new MK IV Knife is probably better for clearing hordes. I'm just a madman.
