See the battlefield, shape the fight.

Weapon choices are very much personal preference. I prefer a horde clear melee weapon and elite/specialist staff (to save ammo for the rest of the team).

Bubble is basically always available to you, use it frequently to dictate the fight. Place it in doorways and ends of corridors, or against walls and other places enemies don't spawn to immediately channel enemies. It blocks shots in and out of it, it also blocks grenades (they still hit the ground and explode causing fire inside the bubble, but they won't fall inside the bubble) and nets. See sniper lines? Cover your team. Being peppered on all sides by heretics in this new open room? Drop a bubble in the middle and take the space. Moving forward quickly only to hit some bullshit? Back up to the bubble. Have a monstrosity to fight? Hey it's hard to avoid all hits, maybe dip into the bubble for a top off while you juggle dodging the monstrosity, clearing the specialists, and avoiding the horde.

Smite is your get-out-of-jail-free card for the whole team. Someone's getting hit? Swap to smite and lock everything down. Elites blocked by chaff in the new room? Quick charge your smite and knock them all down. If you're feeling generous, you can deal with poxbursters and you effectively trivialize hunting grounds. Any time you're feeling your team is on their back foot, charge to full and let it go, smite will reset the battle field with the best of them and you can quickly quell peril to do it again. Freeze time and carry your team through this Emperor-forsaken place!
