Power cycler IV is mandatory (Carapace Armored for Mauler and Orgryn. Unarmoured for horde - not sure that help), special attack are very strong
Range Weapon:
I don't see a lot of build with Agripinaa Mk VIII, but that actualy my favorite ranged for the Veteran and Zealot. Good damage, good amount of ammo, good time to kill, not mandatory to hit a weakspot (spam like Rambo is always fun) and a good supression for taking space and go in. You can kill almost everything with it (except armored ogryn). But as you wish.
Blessing on curios: Toughness Regeneration Speed, Combat Ability Regeneration helps a lots, but as the ranged weapons is like you want.
