Unleash a flurry of Lightnings, Psychic Shards and Soulblazes upon your enemies, with occasional sword strikes.

Surge: Use animation cancel on those you can kill with 1 charge quickly. Fire 1 or 2 Assails and switch back. On tougher enemies, keep charging the staff to benefit from Warp Flurry.

 

Assail: Your secondary. Should always be firing them when you have them and not at critical peril.

 

Shriek: Your AoE and panic button. Use Warp Siphon if you need shorter cooldowns.

 

Deimos: For killing mutants and knocking down crushers mostly. It has moderate horde cleansing ability but you should still use Assails together with your melee.

Your survivability is guaranteed by constantly building up and quelling peril, and Empathic Evasion triggered by criticals. Enemies will find it very difficult to kill you when you keep regenerating toughness through peril management.

On the other side, you are fragile when forced into close combat/self defense, and always exposed to the risk of overheating, so pay close attention to your situation.
