Mellee - focusing the build on the revolver you mellee weapon is focused on horde clear, perks should be flak and maniac for most
Best melee weapons for build
Devil claws (MK IV and MK VII) I love then and they're my personal choice, good mobility, good horde clear and the parry for ragers, bosses and everything else thats a filthy casual. Sweep and rampage to lean into horde clear
Powerswords- Never really used them but I know they are braindead horde clear. (Crap mobility though)
Shovels- Shovels are good, you can whack a horde around and can oneshot maulers, ragers etc on new shovels, good pick. Decimator, skull crusher and uncanny are good
Knife- knife has good mobility and horde clear (I know its weird) Lacerate is solid but ripost and flesh tearer are great.
Other weapons
Axes are decent but dont have great horde clear even with Brutal momentum. Chainsword is a slightly worse powersword, use it if you like but mobility is a struggle.
Range- Were doing the revolver here but the headhunter autoguns also work with this
Key build points and playstyle
As much as marksmans focus makes you think you want to always stand still it isn't necessarily the case, click heads and move inbetween shots, it doesnt need to be max effiency but as long as your hitting weakspots you can move around pretty free. When hordes start coming make sure you have some ammo in your revolver and get to slashing, whip out big iron to click on anything dangerous that comes out.
Close order drill and confirmed kill are a good toughness base for Vet, throw in iron will and your prett tanky.
Shredder nades help with horde clear and stunning annoying enemies while you reload (Ragers, crushers, bulwarks and maulers)
Survivalist is one if the best keystones in the game more ammo for you and the team.
Demo stockpile is great, free value on grenades.
Shout is one of the best ults in the game, gold toughness, strong knockdown, damage buffs its got it all, you can use it as a get off me button or to top up toughness when fighting ranged enemies
Left side keystone tree has + weakspot damage, +crit, +max ammo, +damage to elites, all of which is juicy, revolver does great with dead shot as it isnt a spam fire weapon and with stam regen and +3 stam curio it's never going to be a worry.
Middle tree, for the emperor is just value on shout and tactical awareness just lets you shout more! Iron will makes you beefy at full toughness and bring it down helps you take down crushers and bulwarks.
Reason for the build
Got a good rolled revolver but decided I didn't like reloading slow so have gone for +reload speed on elite/specialst kill and marksmans focus.
Other notes
No keystone is good on this as focus target weapon specialst is really good but the rest of that tree has nothing revolver really wants, you dont need brittleness if you want to pivot into a more melee focused it works but the tree does nothing for revolver. If going no keystone you can get more grenade perks. Have fun and click some heads.
