"Defensive Build" for Relic Abuse.

The Parry ability is insane for taking care of any issue you may come across up close.

Parry = Cleave

A real easy technique I have learned is blocking after the parry swing, this cancels the full animation but you can continue to parry after this without worry about being hit through a repeated parry.
Don't Spam Parry. 

Parry > Block > Parry > Repeat

Spam light attacks to keep the flow of shred going and enjoy using your ability in seconds.
