An High-Toughness DR Support build that can do a lot of damage while de-buffing enemies at both Melee and Range.
Shredder Grenade to clear hordes and those pesky elites in the middle.- Standard-issue Munitorum Sapper Shovel -Perks : +Melee Weakspot Damage, since light attacks are a "Strikedown" attack its easy to hit Weakspots.
Heavy is a "Relentless" attack so that works really well for hordes and have synergy with Skullcrusher. +Unarmoured is an alternative.
+Flak damage, since there are a lot of enemies with Flak armor on various parts of their body.Blessings:"Skullcrusher" - Target receives 1-4 Stack(s) of +10% Damage if already Staggered. More damage for the team!The shovel has high innate stagger and you hit very fast with the "Trench Fighter Drill" talent so its easy to add those 8 stacks of +10% Damage taken to the enemies you hit. Takes 2 hits if you have Skullcrusher IV.
Use Special attack to stagger the more stubborn enemies. Yes even crushers, tho i don't recommend it.
"Uncanny strike" - +12-24% Rending on Enemy Weak Spot Hit for 3.5s. Stacks 5 times. Simply, Your own weapon do more damage after each Weakspot hit and its easy to get 5 stacks with the Shovel.
"Decimator" is a good alternative but its a bit more finicky since if you miss a swing it resets to 0.
- M35 Magnacore Mk II Plasma Gun - You will mostly only use Mouse 1 to shoot.As long as you only use Mouse 1 it will auto-vent 20% heat when the shot would have exceeded 100%.
Use Special to vent as needed without having to reload.
Perks:+Range Damage vs Elite, +Carapace+Maniac to 1-3 shoot them depending on where you hit or if you crit.Blessings:"Shattering Impact" - Each shot adds 1-4 Stacks of 5% Brittleness. More damage for the team!(There is a bug with Shattering Impact, it only seems to apply 2 stacks of Brittleness per shot even at IV blessing, so for the moment there is no need to have anything higher than II.)
"Gets Hot!" - Up to +27.5-50% Critical Chance (scales on Heat Level). At IV its +10% crit chance for each 20% Heat, works well with Shattering Impact.
You can use "Blaze Away" but i found it too restrictive since you have to keep firing and is lost if you stop to re-orientate yourself.
