Divider

Dump stat on Plasma Gun is Charge Rate, you want to spam MB1, as you'll one shot everything but Crushers/Maulers and Reapers anyway. Ammo efficiency is much better if you don't charge shots too. Even with bad crit luck & no headshot, you'll delete Crusher & Bulwark packs by spamming MB1.

    MELEE :
Melee needs to be mobile (to compensate the plasma gun clunk), Combat Blade is the best choice.
Devil Claw (4 if you're not used to it, or 7 if you KNOW) is a decent choice too. Drop Desperado if you're not using CB for Duck and dive, pretty good with DCs as you WILL live situations requiring stamina. 
Not fan of shovels, as you'll delete armored enemies anyway, CB and DC feel much better when forced to melee monstrosities. Same goes for power swords, except they are even less mobile than shovels -> objectively worse for plasma gun.

    TALENTS:
Feel free to drop either demolition team (especially when not playing with specialist conditions) or field improvement for Determined if you can't play without it.

No need for reload speed, just check videos explaining the animation cancel, this is faster AND saving tree talents points.

     CURIOS:
-Health curio can be replaced by a second Toughness, doesn't matter much, do with what you have. +3 Stamina is important though, you'll feel the difference when fighting and... reviving allies.
Ability CDR is useful since you're using the most OP one, Tactical Awareness doesn't make having more on curio worse.
-Stamina regen is essential, be it for surviving or simply hoarding the map for plasteel.
-Ordo Dockets is because I like money. Feel free to use sprint efficiency or block efficiency instead for QoL. Gunner resistance if you don't realise it doesn't change much (diminishing returns with Iron Will, but you'll surely realize that after using it for a while). Just, not Toughness Regeneration Speed. You have Confirmed Kill and will be killing specials/elites every few seconds, TRS only works for coherency regen, not talents, so it's simply useless. You even have an Ability in case it gets depleted somehow. So TRS is very much overrated on Vet (at least, one that can kill).
