When going against large hordes to take them on, specially with carpace and flak armored elites on the mix while at the front line, counting on your VoC (Voice of command) for the small window to reposition?. Or while from afar giving support to your teammates to deliberately to face the dangers ahead, while taking down enemies?

 

If so, this build is for you!

 

Build mainly focused on toughness for smaller tic damage units or melle hits from smaller ones or take big ones from far away on in close combat.

 

Can tell you, this!, can survive on a few occassions against a mauler giving a tight escape window, where evade is the name of the game.

 

PROS:

 

Lots of toughness and toughness speed to keep you on the fight, either on front of back lines of your squad

Plasma gun, can be tricky to manage its charged attack mechanics at first, but can headshot crushers, bulkwars and maulers when fully charged, also volatile helps to precharge the gun faster to get rid of these powerful baddies from a distance.

Versatile, for both front and back lines when required.

 

CONS:

CD Dependant, can use VoC often, but should be only for emergency situations to clutch hard or large hordes

Plasma gun charged mechanic can blow you up and add one wound (Same to psykers peril)

Weak against ragers upclose, better keep your distance with them or youll lose your toughness on three hits.
