This is not built for optimal DPS, your killing potential is up to your own ability with this build. Here, the perks of Martyrdom are meant to help you stay alive for your team, not a necessity to help you kill everything. Don't intentionally take damage to proc Martyrdom (on auric damnation, generally). Find opportunities to take damage that would've gone to a teammate instead. Restoring Faith, Bleed for the Emperor, and Until Death + Holy Revenant will enable you to tank, naturally proccing Martyr's Purpose to charge your ult faster and Martyrdom in situations where you and the team will benefit.

You can offensively pop your ult going into a grouping of enemies or horde situation, giving you and your team a defense and damage buff at the start of the fight, and then putting the ability on cooldown which enables your tanking to go towards cooldown reduction.

The Turtolsky Heavy Sword should be plenty to at least lock down melee threats, and the Zarona Revolver can output damage to any enemy type when needed, but your focus with all of these tools should be on keeping your teammates healthy and enabling them to do their job.
