-8.5--5.5% Charge Time on Chained Secondary Attack. Stacks 3 times.
Gain between 3.5-5% and 14-20% Critical Chance based on current level of peril.
This is the most well rounded and satisfying staff build to for Auric. It minimizes the slowness that turn many players away from staff pysker. The build requires constant weapon swap to stay mobile while doing massive AOE damage, deletling any non-carapace elite group in seconds, while being effective at all ranges.
Pros:
-Capable of taking on every enemy type without stress.
-Speed allows you to play more aggressive
-Effective at all ranges, including melee thanks to assail
-Less positioning dependent than other voidstrike builds
-Very good at killing scattered shooters: the psyekr's bigest foe
-Deletes non-carapace elite groups instantly
-Mirco intensive and satisfying to play
Cons:
-Not specialized at killing buwark hordes
-Not specialized at killing Crusher hordes
-Assail breaks against maulers and crushers. You need to kill them with staff first.
-Requires melee to contribute in boss damage. Staff can stun boss but dps is low.
Combat Blade 6
A direct ugrade from Mk3 for Psyker. Its push attack offers the same damage as its strike down heavy, while being extremely safe and spammable thanks to Pysker's high stamina regen. Use the charge heavy run into slide movetech to move around the map in zealot speed. However you should always be using its mobility to keep distance from melee enemies, and use your other weapons to kill them. You should only fight with this weapon when:
-Against mutants
-Against a single high hp enemy by itself like mauler or crusher
-Diving flamers in melee, because they attack way too fast
-High peril and shriek is on CD, need to defend yourself NOW
-You have boss aggro. (Practice how to animation lock Spawn and Plogryn in Psykanium, it's pretty easy)
Voistrike Staff
Get into a good position and start blasting. Voidstrike by itself is a very powerful weapon with very reasonable peril generation, high cleave and CC. You want to always aim at the head for higher damage and True Aim proc. A fully charged head shot can stun bosses similar to a grenade, allowing you to contribute to the boss fight from range. But you should always prioritize killing everything else and let your team handle the boss.
Perks Carapace because killing crusher and mauler pack is the only challenge for this build. Perk Maniac because it allows you to one shot headshot flamers more consistantly which is a big deal.
Assail
Assail let's you easily dispatch those annoying stalkers that like to scatter around. The left click is fast, while the right click is slower, but more damaging and can lock onto enemies. With empower psyonic, assail costs nothing, does more damage and can bounce six times. It also does not reset your auto quell timer. You want to always find brief moments to spend your EP charge, never sit on max stacks for long.
The right click's raise arm animation can be canceled if used after a left click. There is also a down time where you can't throw or quell after the right click, which can be canceled into weapon swap. So the combo is left click> right click> swap weapon. You want to do this a lot during high peril while you have EP charge to maintain dps, while having a chance to proc Battle Meditation, allowing to use your staff more without quelling.
Talents
I am only going to mention the notable choices, or what I chose not to take. Other's are standard voidstrike standard talents.
-No quick shards because EP cost no shards
-No Solidity. Simply because of point cost. Saves me 3 points.
-No puppet master. Aura radius isnt that good without psykinetic aura.
-Battle meditation. Usually not good for warp nexus staffs. However it's very good here because we want to attack as frequently as possible. When you don't have EP charge, the rotation can get quite peril heavy.
-Perilous Combustion. Despite not having SB on staff, this talent plus shriek melte hordes very fast.
-Mettle. Triggers on whiff. Spam light attack with dagger while falling, or waiting for elavator to build up speed.
