Divider

The goal of the build is to use chrous as often as possible to make life easier for your teammates by boosting their survivability and staggering enemies.

By default you want to frontline/hang around your Vet or Psyker so you can peel (attract/kill enemies that would attack them) for them so they can shoot/cast in peace.

Thanks to Until Death and Holy Revenant we don't have to take med stations/stimms as often so the more fragile teammates like Psykers have more available.

Dueling Sword is an obvious melee alternate option but with +5% crit chance instead of dmg bonus against flak as you want more conistent crits to proc the CD reduction.

The bottom 2 talents are interchangeable with their other options, but giving 10% crit for your teammates should not be underestimated, it also puts you onto damage resistance cap for toughness (Stalwart+ Enduring Faith =75%)

Why toughness damage reduction for chorus? Well, because survivability is more importnant and damage usually not the problem. Beneditcion(Aura) + Holy Cause = 55% Toughness damage reduction which will put pretty much all classes/builds to the 75% toughness damage resistance cap.
Also don't forget that you can push any non Beast of Nurgle monstrosities off the ledges, killing them instantly.

Why flamethrower? Because it destroyes mixed/normal hordes especially at chokepoints so your team can deal tiwth other threats. Also throwing knife is really good at killing imporant targets like Trappers as it one shots them on a headshot, you can even kill Snipers with it from long distances!
