Description
TL;DR Summary: For this build, the focus was to take nearly every Brittleness and Rending talent in the Veteran tree. This allows the Veteran, specifically with high fire-rate weapon, to absolutely demolish everything in their path.
The firearm is really up to you, but I wholly recommend sticking to high fire-rate weapons, like the MK 6d Recon Lasgun or Columnus MK 5 Autogun, as this will ramp of Brittleness stacks quicker with Onslaught. If you are taking an Autogun, take off the Shock Trooper talent and reallocate it as you see fit
My personal favorite firearm is the build I have on my Recon Lasgun as shown above, because crits will allow you to ignore armor and Infernus will let you deal with those pesky bosses.
Your Melee weapon and Shredder Grenades are gonna be your crowd control. Bromentum + Power Cycler on the Powersword is a match made on Terra, because that **** cuts through crowds like a World Eater cuts through an orphanage. Not to mention Shredder spam will always be a reliable "pause button" for most situations.
You might look at this build and say: "You barely took any of the toughness regen nodes like Exhilarating or Confirmed Kill...". Acute observation, my fellow Reject, but my reasoning behind this is that the combo of Voice of Command + Duty and Honour + Tactical Awareness = ~70% uptime of over-shield (over-toughness?), especially on Shock Troop Gauntlet or Aurics with specialist waves. You'll just have to learn to not spam and space it out.
