OVERVIEW

The Devils Claw sword's parry is a difficult but fun to master special attack. In order to make use of it though you'll be constantly exposing yourself to enemy attacks. As such, the main focus of this build is ensuring that you have on command toughness recharge abilities. While Telekine shield allows us to play very aggressively against gunners, there's a far more reliable way of keeping ourselves alive between bouts.

CORE GAMEPLAY LOOP
While its on cool down, Assail is our best regen option with a bit of set up. In order to make the best use of it, we need to consciously make the most of the `True Aim` talent. By slashing the heads of heretics, we guarantee that our next assail will crit. With `SoulStealer`, `Mettle`, and occasionally `Psychic Leeching` all proccing at the same time upon assail kills, your toughness bar will shoot up instantly. Keep switching between your sword and assail like this and hordes will melt in no time, without leaving a scratch on you.

I decided to go for the `Prescience` Aura, as proccing `Mettle` more means we're more likely to recover toughness on melee hit and we'll be a bit faster as well. The `Seer's Presence` aura works as well, giving more uptime for the shield, but more importantly the node above it `Inspiring Presence` must be taken either way, as it boosts our toughness regen.

MELEE WEAPON
The Catachan Mk VII "Devil's Claw" is my choice of weapon as it's [heavy , light] combo makes hitting multiple heads a breeze, the [push attack, light] combo is a safer way to bait out parry-able attacks from Ragers/Maulers/Crushers while keeping up the heat, AND it comes with a better riposte attack after you successfully parry an enemy (Overhead slash instead of the sweep). Finally, it's [light, heavy, light] combo allows for good single target damage hitting the enemy's head with a quick flurry of attacks.

Another reason I chose Psyker as the class to base this build is the existence of the `Kinetic Deflection` talent, which allows us to spam pushes / push attacks far more than any other class. The only blessing I recommend for sure in this build is `HammerBlow`, since the additional impact will prevent larger elites from getting a quick hit in that would otherwise be difficult to parry.

RANGED WEAPON
Any quick to pull out / burst damage ranged weapon works, but I recommend the Zorona revolver with the `Hand Cannon` blessing, so we can put down crushers/maulers by charging up `True Aim` by hitting their heads repeatedly between parries and blast them with a guaranteed crit.
