(Auric Malestrom) Goblin Ascension
 Zealot Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

Intro

Hey, little green buddy remember me? You're the guy I used to be just a little while ago. You may be asking yourself how did you get so tall? My brain also used to be made ENTIRELY OF GOOOO. I mean, it must have been because there is no way in hell someone with half a solidified non-goo'd prefrontal cortex would be stupid enough to be playing like you. It's ok it's not your fault (it is it so is and I hate you) it's societies. I mean what do you get when you cross a mentally ill goo brain with a society that abandons him and treats him like trash? You get SHROUDFIELD KNIFE ZEALOTS THAT ARE ACTIVE DETRIMENTS TO THEIR SQUADS! Today we are going to fix that and maybe by the end of this, your brain will be just a little more dense so that when you shake your tiny little head the sloshing isn't so loud. I warn you I will not be satisfied until I see the flash in your eyes.

Overview

This build is made for the Knife zealots that run Shroudfield and absolutely go down almost instantly in Maelstroms. It was founded during my Auric Maelstrom penance hunting and it allowed me to tank everything, deal massive amounts of damage to all types, and survive basically everything. (We stack toughness curios because we can renew toughness easily as well as have 65 percent toughness damage reduction constantly)

Role

Your job here is beyond your wildest little liquid-brained fantasies. You have grown too accustomed to never seeing the eyes of your prey. There are more places than the rear to attack from my little goo brain. You are tasked with being the strongest all-rounder in the whole team. You have horde clear, special clear, the ability to easily solo all bosses, and survive Crusher overheads like they are nothing while also being able to clear ranged specials, clutching, as well as mutant and dog waves. Even if there is a situation you can triumph over everything Darktide has to offer

How it works

This build has three main components that allow you to be the dense-headed Maelstrom carry god that you didn't know you wanted to be. 

1. Running Synergy off of Blazing Peity, Fury of the Faithful, Scourge, Catachan Mk III Combat Blade, Invocation of Death, Riposte, and Precognition to maximize crit chance and cooldown reduction. (The attack speed of Fury of the Faithful makes it very easy to get crits allowing you sometimes to almost instantly get it back especially if maxed out Riposte you can reach a constant 100% crit chance)
2. Using Fury of the Faithful as a toughness potion to continue your relentless assault is very important to your survivability. 
3. Enduring Faith and Benediction give you massive damage reduction allowing you to front line and tank even DH which when paired with Duellist you can dish out damage while dancing around your enemies.

Enemy types

1. Bullwaurks can be easily dispatched with chaining dodge heavy attacks.
2. Crushers can be killed with Surgical at range, With the 100% percent crit chance applied to throwing knives you can do some serious damage if needed on ranged headshots. They are also staggered with a crit headshot with Surgical.
3. Gunners and Flamers can be 1 shot with throwing knives and or revolver headshots.
4. For Maulers and Flak armored enemies you should have 100% crit chance or close to it a majority of the encounters so you just shred
5. For Beast of Nurgle aim for Fury of the Faithful Weakspot stabs and you melt them
6. Basically, you have the ability to kill everything if used correctly

Tips

• You can also use Fury of the Faithful to charge Gunners and Flamers going straight through their slow taking little or no damage in the process.
• If faced with a Dog horde you can use Fury of the Faithful to not get knocked down or if you hear a dog in the middle of a fight you can use it to make you immune to the jump but you have to time it well.
• Due to the low cooldown Fury of the Faithful can be used as a mobility tool to reposition or get out of a bad spot.
• You can 1 shot Mutants during Blazing Piety with a face stab and if timed well Fury of the Faithful can through a Mutant grab.
• While fighting bosses aim for weak spots and chain dodge heavies and use Fury of the Faithful to replenish and or gain the attack speed buff to build stacks of Blazing Piety 
• Blazing Piety also gives you revolver crit chance making it easier to crit with low Surgical stacks
• Snipers lose lock on you if you use Fury of the Faithful even if aimed directly at them and depending on distance can stagger them.

This is the end of our time together I wouldn't say it was enjoyable but I can say I am proud of you. Usually, I say something inspirational and give you some call to action but I feel like that would only work on a silly goo brain and you aren't one of those anymore am I right? So I guess all that's left to say is *Kicks off shoes to reveal stilts* RISE, RISE, MY GOBLIN BROTHERS. LET YOUR IMMACULATE FORCE SHINE BRIGHTER IN THE EYES OF THE RAGING MOON.
