How to use:
- Primarily use Smite's Secondary Attack for most encounters. Smite has incredible crowd control and good hoard clear, allowing you and allies to deal with a dangerous situation much easier. You can attack until you reach 100% Peril to instantly quell down to 80% after, or stop at any point before 100% to shove smaller enemies that are being shocked.
- Make sure no enemies sneak up behind you when casting Smite, as it will interrupt your cast and potentially waste a stack of Empowered Psionics.
- Cast Telekine Dome where you think your allies will choose to fight a lengthy engagement, such as against a large group of Shooters and Stalkers, or a group of Ragers or Carapace-armored enemies. The Dome will not only keep distant shooters from hurting you and your team as you fight, but your Toughness will constantly regenerate while within it thanks to Sanctuary.
- Keep in mind, the Dome will disappear sooner if many Gunners are shooting at it, so consider a fallback point when fighting multiple Gunners.
- Use the Deimos Blaze Force Sword to quickly dispatch very close enemies and to fight Maulers, Crushers, and Ragers that are targeting you via the Special Action buff (if there's more than 3 of each, then use Smite instead to safely whittle away at them).
- The Deflector blessing can allow you to briefly block bullets in order to get to cover, however it shouldn't be relied on very often.
- Be careful when push block-attacking with the Blaze Force Sword. It has a powerful push that can stagger even Ragers, however it generates Peril, which can lead to your head exploding if you use it at 100% Peril.
- Use the Voidstrike Force Staff's Secondary Attack to deal with distant Elites, Specials, and shooters. It can deal Weakspot damage, so aim for the head. It's also capable of clearing a line through a hoard and staggering larger Elites if Smite is too slow.
- The Voidstrike Force Staff's Primary Attack is weak, but it can stagger most Specials to interrupt their attacks, such as Trapper nets, Bomber grenades, or Hound pounces. Use it if you can't fully charge a Secondary Attack fast enough to kill them before they attack.
- If your Voidstrike Force Staff's Quell Speed stat is above 50%, use it to Quell as it boosts the rate at with your Peril is lowered by Quelling. If it's below 50%, do NOT use it to Quell, at it decreases the speed at which Peril is quelled, and instead use either your Blaze Force Sword or bare hands.
- When fighting Monstrosities, use Smite to simultaneously damage and weaken the boss via Enfeeble, as well as stunning any nearby enemies to protect your frontlining allies. If there are no other enemies, use Special Action Heavy attacks when you're not being targeted to contribute. If you're being targeted by the boss, keep blocking and dodging until either the boss switches targets, or find openings to land Special Action Light attacks before blocking again.
Now get out there and make Damnation feel like the Meat Grinder!
