Strategy Overview --
Use Staff M1 to wreck Gunners, Maulers and Ragers, M2 to stun Bulwarks and Crushers for teammates.
Use Assail when in melee combat against hordes, use Combat Knife if Shriek is on cooldown and Assail charges are depleted. Optimally we want to fight at high Peril for as long as possible as this maximizes the benefits from Warp Nexus, Warp Rider, and One With The Warp.
Malefic Momentum will max out the stacks for our melee weapon shortly after an 85+ Peril Shriek, it will buff our Electrokinetic Staff and Assail after a few easy Combat Knife kills. It encourages rotation through melee combat and warp combat as we should be doing to get the most out of this build.
Assail --
Assail is excellent for quickly building up Peril to 85+ against hordes when it is too dangerous to use Electrokinetic Staff. Buffed by Warp Splitting, True Aim, Disrupt Destiny and Ethereal Shards, Assail will efficiently supplement Creeping Shriek for horde clear ability while Shriek is in cooldown.
Electrokinetic Staff --
Spam Electrokinetic M1 against Gunners, Ragers, Scab Shooters, Maulers and Shotgunners. With True Aim and Warp Nexus, we will be landing crits most of the match using M1 spam. M1 will stagger Maulers on chest hits, suppress Gunners/Shooters and one shot Shotgunners on headshot crit.
Also use M1 to maximize Cruel Fortune on marked targets so we can keep our Disrupt Destiny stacks high.
Spam Electrokinetic M2 against Bulwarks and Crushers in melee combat with our teammates as the M2 will stagger them consistently.
Creeping Shriek--
Vent into the largest group of enemies whenever we have it ready with Peril at 85+. It will delete everything hit by it that isn't an Elite, Specialist or Boss and allows our teammates to focus on the real threats. With Seer's Presence providing 10% CD reduction and +12% CD reduction from our curios, we will have Shriek available every 23 seconds.
Combat Knife --
Use Combat Knife while Shriek is in cooldown against trash hordes. Riposte gives lots of crits; crits proc Empathic Evasion, give 8 bleed stacks and deal increased damage from Disrupt Destiny. We will essentially be immune to ranged attacks while fighting hordes because of how often we will land crits.
Also use Combat Knife to maneuver and reposition quickly when things get out of control. Holding M1 while sprinting gives us temporarily faster sprint, spamming slide makes it extremely difficult for ranged enemies to land hits on us while we're repositioning.
Disrupt Destiny --
Disrupt Destiny is hands down the best keystone available to Psyker for consistently increasing damage from all sources. The 20% mobility bonus on target kill is also nice for survivability as well.
Defense --
Kinetic Deflection with our curios set up to maximize stamina allows us to tank even Bosses and Daemon Hosts - provided we combine our blocks with a few dodges and vent when Peril gets high. With Stamina Regen maxed out at 3 and Psyker's naturally short Stamina regen delay, one dodge will allow us enough time to refill most of our Stamina.
