45-60% Finesse Damage for 2s on successful Dodge.
12-24% Rending on Enemy Weak Spot Hit for 3.5s. Stacks 5 times.
5-20% Damage Bonus vs Staggered enemies.
70-100% Critical Weak Spot Damage.
This build is for experienced players, If you are new I don't recommend, you need to have map knowledge map awareness and know that you should always back up.
HOW TO PLAY:
bounce between melee and ranged, with weapon specialist you melee speed rivals the zealot and you can delete hoards. you can also solo crusher patrols without issue. ALWAYS HAVE A SMOKE DOWN, smokes are op, it is portable cover for you team. ex: plague ogryn pushing team smoke so your team doesn't get deleted by gunners. This build is great for being in the action, covering flanks, and self reliant. A big issue I see often is players not backing up so when you do this alone use VoC to keep your toughness up and help your team with smokes if they aren't with you. make sure to keep a smoke on you for emergencies.
+9 STAM:
+9 stam, smoke and VoC means you can rez anyone anywhere and still get out safely. this also means you can easily bosses and my favorite DH. +9 stam makes you a complete tank and you almost never have to worry about running out. Great for safe map traversal.
WEAKNESS:
Gunners... if you are not carful you health will get deleted faster than you can say heretic, use lots of natural cover and smoke(its what its for after all) play slow and safe when there are a lot of gunners around the map.
MAELSTORMS:
Cakewalk after some practice. This build has a decent skill ceiling hard to mast but some much fun once you start to get it. it is the perfect multitool, and lots of clutch potential, there isn't much this build can't do.
CURIOS:
Here is where you really need to know the game.
+9 stam - this means you are rocking less then the average psyker player. use smokes, play around cover and know where to fight.
Stam regen - what it says on the tin. I only have 2 because I found 3 a little unnecessary with the other skills.
Corruption resistance - This is more a personal choice, With this you can agro DH without it eating a wound. Also great for snaking around a beast of nurgal and Poxbursters if a teammate pushes one into you.
Block efficiency - this allows you to tank any boss agro without issue. and needed for DH fighting.
Sprint efficiency - helps with map traversal when going for a rez and makes map traversal safer in general
Combat ability regen - absolutely needed for any vet running with VoC that +12% will save your live more than you can count.
STIMS:
if you cant get a med stim or comfortable without hoarding them like a loot goblin concentration stim is the way to goin emergencies VoC is more important than health. you have very little health. You are able take 3 hits before you go down without toughness so your medstim is useless. Its better to live then go down. That being said if you do use medstims you don't need to wait till you go down to get value, keep yourself topped up.
NADES:
You don't need krak or shredder. dueling sword is op with weapon specialist and can handle what they do. portable cover is more important.
DH:
fighting them is fun. Losing is fun. How much fun would you really have if you only won. the Dh is there for an optional challenge. When you master the game you win more maelstoms than not and the fun games are when you join mid session and pull out a clutch for the team. yes you can and probably should play with more health and toughness but were are here to struggle againsted the unrelenting hoards of heretics
