Poketide build without Martyrdom. Better CC and anti-armor, slightly worse special killing capabilities, but if you're good at knives you should be able to deal with them anyways. Gun is a dealer's choice but I would not recommend using any single-target weapon such as Revolver, bring an anti-armor weapon (NO, revolver does NOT count. Stop suggesting Surgical + Hand Cannon.) Maybe bring flamer instead.

Really, if you think using it might be beneficial, it probably is, so use it. Use gun sparingly, dueling sword is the catalyst for this build - reserve your gun for dealing with crowds of armor or when things seem to get sticky, such as getting cornered by a horde.
Uncanny Strike for Dueling Sword is BiS for anti-Flak CC/some armor damage but Agile could be replaced with Precognition/Riposte for a greater focus on damage, though it doesn't seem necessary, especially given how powerful Agile makes your defense.
Until Death can be intentionally spent to finish up an objective that you're almost done with, such as hacking minigames or ferrying canisters. Try not to trigger it otherwise.
If you favor more survivability over damage, drop Sustained Assault and its connecting melee damage node for the +10% health modifier above Martyrdom and Good Balance.
