I saw this build in an Auric T5 (Hi-Int), where this Psyker had the highest dmg. The 2nd highest dmg in the match was 315K, from a Vet on an experimental build. By comparison, this Smite Psyker's overall dmg was 698K.  The breakdown was:

 

  • 458K Blitz (Smite)
  • 131K Ranged (ElectroKinetic Staff)
  • 70K Condition (Soulblaze effects)
  • 37K Melee/Environment 

 

The Psyker playstyle was to use a lot of Smite, on hordes, mixed hordes, and patrol groups of various sizes.

Talents

  • Warp Expenditure was taken instead of Mettle
    • This is at the top of the tree, just off to the right of the root node

Loadout

  • Melee: 
    • Obscurus instead of Deimos.
    • Blessing: Unstable Power instead of Uncanny Strike.
      • More strength = more stagger = more survivable
  • Ranged:
    • Perks: +25% Flak instead of +25% Unyielding
    • Blessing: Surge instead of Warp Flurry
  • Curios:
    • +1 Wound instead of +3 Stamina 
    • +30% Toughness Regen Speed instead of +20% Dmg resist vs Gunners
