So after messing around and coming up with this build I thought it would be good to share. The core of it being centered around the Recon Las primarily and keeping your ammo efficiency as high as possible, with a secondary emphasis on keeping your shout off cooldown as much as possible, and last but not least being able to melt down monstrosities with Mark key stone and Krak Grenades.

 

The Curios are more suggestion because these are what have worked for me in the long term, so you should use what ultimately works best from your personal experience. The same goes for the Melee Weapon, seeing as I've had good experiences with Power Sword and Both Chain Axe/Sword. 

 

I've run this build in multiple Auric and Non-Auric Maelstroms and it has performed well for me. (This also works in Havoc as well). Being able to kill up to 5 or 6 crushers with the Recon Las before reloading and the Power Sword/Chain Axe/Chain Sword Melting down any other hard hitters like Maulers/Ragers. 

 

An important side note to bring up is that the Dueling Sword is also a very good choice to use if none of the other melee weapons mentioned are your style of play.

 

Overall this setup works very well at all ranges of play and has felt nice for me for a while now being able to kill both Hoards/Elites/Monstrosities.
