Description
Goals/Synergies:
Assail can be overpowered by Scrier's Gaze, which allows you to throw darts at 100% peril for an extended period. This takes advantage of the extra finesse damage and toughness DR of Scrier's Gaze while gaining the max damage bonus from Warp Rider and max toughness DR of One With the Warp. Crit chance is also very high granting additional damage from Perfect Timing and toughness regen from Mettle.
Typical Rotation:
* Use Scrier's Gaze whenever its available -- it returns very frequently
* Use darts at range on hoards. Hoards that are very far will die quicker from the darts aimed attack and motioning the cursor over multiple enemies while right-click is held
* Use the Force Sword (heavy/heavy combo) for hoards at close
* Unarmored elites/specials use the secondary aimed attack for darts
* Armored elites/specials use a full charge of the Electrokinetic Staff
* Note 1: while using Scrier's Gaze in melee with the Force Sword, you should be able to extend the time of Scrier's for a very long time by focusing on heavy attacks to weakspots while benefiting from 100% cleave. (from By Crack of Bone and Warp Splitting talents)
* Note 2: You can extend your peril during Scrier's Gaze to 100 percent and continue to use Warp attacks as long as the Red Skull counter icon is on-screen. At that point, I typically dont bother quelling at all. Instead I'll switch to the Force Sword and focus on quelling with weakspot kills (By Crack of Bone)
Keystones:
I didnt see enough of a benefit from Empowered Psionics, because each charge is wasted per Dart, rather than allowing a timeframe to throw for free. I could see a specialist-focused build where each specialist kill is a free, no-peril dart. But I havent tried it yet
Beyond that, I think Disrupt Destiny is a distraction, so I decided to go without a keystone and focus on the core of the build
