Psyker
This weapon Blocks both Melee and Ranged attacks. Additionally, Block Cost is reduced by 22.5-30%.
12.5-20% Critical Chance for 6s on successful Dodge.
5-8% Strength for every 10% of magazine spent during continuous fire. Stacks 5 times.
Gain between 3.5-5% and 14-20% Critical Chance based on current level of peril.
This psyker serves as mobile provider of frequent domes for the team and horde clear. It is not necessarily a "clutch build".
I played high-level havocs with it and it synergizes with many teams pretty well. Key points:
- Psykinetic aura (CDR on cohereny elite/special kill) scales nicely with high-density of enemies in Havoc games, making the cooldowns of you and your team noticeably shorter. To make this effect even greater, I picked up the Puppet Master (+50% coherency radius).
- The constant crits on purgatus synergize nicely with Emphatic Evasion, you will take much less ranged damage with it while flaming the hordes. It also synergizes with Perfect Timing (extra warp damage on crits) making your horde clear much more efficient.
- The warp charges give you extra damage, toughness and most importantly CDR so you can spam more bubbles, more often.
Your main role is to shield your team with bubbles and clear hordes with purgatus especially at chokepoints.
If you want to up your DPS swap Riposte on Deimos Force Sword for Uncanny Strike as it will greatly boost your purgatus damage vs armored elites. I created this build tailored to my personal playstyle, I bear a grudge against mutants and ragers, so I have extra crit chance on dodge to deal with them quickly.
The force sword serves mostly to ward off the omnipresent and extremely dangerous shooters in Havoc games and also create space with its strong pushes and push attacks. Use special attacks with caution as they leave you very vulnerable. With the extra perks you can also revive allies mid-horde pretty safely, as long as there are no block-breaking enemies in the vicinity.
Brain Burst is your way to pick off single shooters in a slow yet steady pace and deal with trappers. It scales very poorly on Havoc, but still can take care of some specials.
