I implore you to read this in full:
It's very useful build information and explains the logic as to why I made the point variations I did. I have had this build since day one. I played this crap way before this ever became havoc meta.. so yeah. I hope you like my version of the havoc meta. Again if you look at some choices and go wtf? Keep reading.. you'll understand why. I explain every choice and why. I'm an austistic ADHD min/maxer. I choose things based on what works best vs game logic. It's just how my brain works. Everything is math and Darktide is a very simple calculation.
So this is my rendition of the Havoc Meta. There's realistically about 3 to 4 points of customization here. I've seen some sweats use kinetic deflection.. tbh it seems the most common point re-allocation and I don't agree with it and I'll tell you why. Without stacking a bunch of block cost and having the ability to have deflection blessing the dueling sword even with kinetic deflection will fail to allow you to pick up teammates in the most common heated situations where it would end up being worth it.. Really only a force sword is capable of pulling this off because of massively enhanced block efficiency/BCR. In my testing.. in the situations where I could pick up someone it had nothing to do with having kinetic deflection.. I would of got them up even if I didn't have it and in situations where I couldn't without it I still couldn't because I hit max peril too fast. So in my opinion going stam regen on the curios and not taking Kinetic Deflection is the superior option. In 99% of cases where you need to pick someone up in havoc a fuqqing zealot is going to be using book for you to pick someone up so pay attention and do it. In the cases where book is not available it's because the zealots are the ones who are down and you are fuqqed anyways. This point will not be enough for you to revive them in 9/10 situations so it's just not worth it to me. You will on average get very little use out of this talent without using a force sword to block ranged attacks. IT IS SIMPLY NOT WORTH IT TO ME. It's not a logical choice where when in the best case you might get 10% usage. The math doesn't math. I will die on this hill lol. Stamina regen will keep you in the fight longer because you can push sweep more which also helps a lot and having agile basically increases your survival three fold so this is why I don't use it.
Also the 10% weakspot damage is nice.. you can go carapace if you really want. that's your choice. I don't because between brain rupture and a couple of pokes to wind up my stacks.. crushers end up dying in one to two hits anyways. I like 10% weakspots because it's 20% with agile which helps you a lot more vs all other targets.. again.. do what you want here. There's room in this build for your own customization.
I know the meta is to go as low as possible with warp resistance on the staff and then take inner tranquility.. I disagree with this whole heartedly.. not only are you going to spend like 3mill dockets trying to roll this rediculousness but 30-40% is much easier to obtain but doing the atypical min/maxer gets the same results as you will with a 30-40% WR staff running essence harvest. I run essence harvest because purge havoc meta gets so many warp charges constantly through In Fire Reborn that essence harvest combined with your other toughness talents becomes legit insane toughness regen/replenishment. This setup nets you the same max damage peril generation with far more survival overall.
Also some people prefer One with the Warp and I don't pick it because if you're at least 30-40% warp resistance on your staff plus not using inner tranquility.. you easily maximize peril rate to keep you high peril all the time.. so in theory you should be able to get 90% of this talent. BUT you don't at 60% peril plus it's still only 30-33% toughness damage reduction on average which is nice but not needed in the build that literally has bubble shield up every 6-12 seconds in havoc. you're getting 50% from the shield and there is multiplicative calculation there. so that 30-33% would actually only be 61-65%(42%+9-13%) when stacking with the bubble shield. To me this is not worth it and I feel Empathic Evasion is more than enough combined with dodging sliding a lot while being the fired at target and essence harvest.
Another thing to note is my choice to get Kinetic Resonance over One with the Warp.. To me this is the better choice.. Not having empowered psionics in this build means that you never have access to any kind of fast casting brain ruptures.. In this build you can cast bubble A LOT.. like A LOT.. every 6-12 seconds.. so literally 75%+ of the time you have 75% faster brain rupture casts because of this one point choice.. since you don't get the mileage you want out of One with the Warp that you should because of diminishing returns. I feel that Kinetic Resonance is the superior option. having 75% faster/50% less peril cost brain rupture 75%+ of the time is incredibly good. You're going to end up brain rupturing a fair amount because it's your only long ranged option and having it quick and responsive and not bringing you to 100% peril in two casts is super useful. Again if you disagree with this logic. Feel free to change it. I really don't care. I'm all about min/maxing and this point selection gives the most bang for your buck in actual gameplay usage. an extra 11-15% toughness damage reduction isn't going to do shit for you in actual use. being able to pop 5 snipers in 3-4 seconds that the team can't touch is.. also being able to kill monstrosities/bulwarks fast is also more useful to you and the team.. just saying.
