Description

A build thrown together when I mused over the idea of 'just how much damage can a Thunder Hammer really do?'. Turns out, a LOT! I've routinely one shot monstrosities from full with this (including Deamonhosts), and it's able to function decently well within a wave, thanks to Invigorating Revelation.
Previous iterations of this build had duellist, but I ended up dropping it largely due to the hammer not needing it, it rarely being up when you plan to use it (as you tend to invis and set up longer than 3s in order to get thrust going), and it just feeling better to have the backstab cooldown and be able to invis more often instead of using Martyr's purpose and only getting a few refreshes per game. It also just made more sense since you could sit at low HP with this set up, verses healing yourself for said 'purpose' and then not having the damage to one shot things when you want to.
I have a separate build that's more 'streamlined' and uses more of the staples, but this is the only main one I've found that consistently nukes the highest health enemies in the game in one hit (instead of doing most of their health). It's a bit tricky to get used to, but if you can it's very very enjoyable. (The Shredder pistols entire purpose is to function as a toughness battery since you don't take basically any toughness regen in this build. Immolation grenades are used to clear out waves as while the Thunder Hammer CAN do decently well against them especially with Disdain, it's nice just having that 'ohh there's a lot lets just burn it all' button).
