Description
Build Notes:
- Boltgun is used because it can one-tap ranged enemies and also magdump 3-4 crushers or a pack of Dreg Rager's , making it a good all-around sidearm to the best horde clear melee in the game. Throw a knife to cancel out the long draw animation.
- Boltgun can be taken with different damage oriented blessings, but puncture and shatter synergize very well together as the armor reduction affects bleeds damage.
- Taxe can be taken with a stalwart piety build with Brutal Momentum / Headtaker for higher damage at the cost of dodge distance, which I enjoyed leaning into more.
Playstyle Notes:
- The throwing knives replace any need for a revolver or similar ranged weapon. They one-shot all specialists and ranged elites like shotgunners and gunners.
Weapon Notes:
- Horde clear combo: Push Attack (RMB+LMB -> LMB) -> Light -> Light OR just Light spam.
- Single Target: Heavy Attack
- Special Attack on the head stuns every non-boss enemy in the game, making crushers and bulwarks and reapers alot safer/easier to fight.
- I prefer the Mk4 over the Mk7 due to its superior moveset allowing for Brutal Momentum to cleave downwards at a diagonal with every hit.
- The Mk2 is also viable, but i highly dislike the heavy attack rotation, which ends up having roughly equivalent clear and inferior single target damage when compared to the Mk4's overhead heavies, at the cost of mobility and safety of light attacks. (A heavy rotation usually requires TWBS)
