Hitting at least 3 enemies with an attack, increases your cleave by 140-200% for 2 seconds.
6.5-8% Strength for 3.5s on Hit. Stacks 5 times.
30-60% Rending on Critical Hit.
10% Critical Chance for every 0.3-0.45 second while aiming. Stacks 10 times. Discharges all stacks upon firing.
And with this, I create a 'combo build' of sorts for Kraxton. I wanted a 'Revolver Regen' Build, but also wanted a heavy sword build...and turns out, you can do both! quite comfortably in fact! Made it that much better that I could use Weapon Specialist on it to, 'Maximum' Heavy Sword on a Veteran, while using Krak grenades to make up for your armor deficit, Survivalist for ammo, Shout in case you ever get overwhelmed, and all the important bit's of damage and survivability that's readily available to you. I even go over and grab the 10% melee damage + Serrated Blade, because now that it applies 2 bleed per hit it's actually kinda ridiculous on melee weapons that don't otherwise kill in one swipe. Won't see it with a Power/Duelling Sword or any of the chain weapons, but basically every other melee weapon gets great use out of Serrated Blade, and feels that much better having bleed 'make up the difference' when it comes to damage. A 'bonified Zealot' this build is, with the as stated, nice revolver to round it out against heavy armor and above, and deal with long range threats. Catch a Breath is also an unsung hero of this build too, as while getting shot at it keeps you topped off and above Iron Will range so you can get in the fight and start meleeing, then if/when it likely turns off it did it's job and that doesn't matter to much. Just shout whenever you get overwhelmed and you'll get the regen back by the time things are ready to hit you again, it's pretty great. It's the main reason I can get away with not having On Your Toes, as otherwise one would need it for those bursts of toughness every swap. One could drop Survivalist and grab On Your Toes instead, and probably Rending Strikes + Field Improvisation or something. But I liked not having to worry about ammo ever with this set up, and the interaction above with Catch a Breath allowing me to take Krak grenades for monstrosity damage is HEAVILY needed. With this, you can shout, slap the boss a bit, krak, slap the boss more, krak again, then finish with slaps or revolver fire, where as before you where just SOL and got absolutely dumpstered if your team wasn't able to help you (before being with smokes, like the on on Canary now). But now you get to be effective AND have fun with the heavy sword, yippy! It works very well, and is a fun bit of novelty! Would recommend, especially since the lack of the weakspot modifier means you can just slash away at the wave, and kill it all eventually thanks to the bleed. repeat heavies for any large target/ragers and specials, light light into 'back hand/alt fire hit' to reset combo for the wave. One can do heavy into backhand hit for SUPER big targets too like maulers, but for those I usually aim center mass in the wave (if it's a mixed horde) and use Savage Sweep against the flake to kill everything along with the mauler, again thanks to bleed. Keep up the weapon specialist with pot shots into the wave for even more attack speed for even more bleed, and just drop everything rather fast with high headtaker damage and high DoT. Also if ever you find your Revolver low on ammo, you can get 1 kill, swap to it, get another kill swap to it, and just do that a few times to get back to a full mag before procing your attack speed/dodge distance again. All works rather well together, all weaknesses made up for, and feels 'light on it's feet'. Very much worth a try.
