Video by Ryken below explains the breakpoints for Force Greatsword.
Force Greatsword is awesome because it can deal with armor and still cleave hordes effortlessly and in style with a big energy wave.
But for this build it is only a 2nd to the staff. Able to deal with any enemy in melee except massed ragers.
We pick the Mk8 because it still has a infinite overhead heavy attack loop after one push attack into heavy stab, but with a safer 1 2 light attack push combo and infinite light attack spam against trash as well.
With this build, one heavy stab into one overhead will kill Maulers (2 hits). 3 hits for Crushers, 3 hits for Bulwarks (1 stab 2 overheads). All weakspot hits.
Kinetic Aura and Precog blessing (as well as the weapon perks) are MANDATORY.
Only first stab needs Precog active to achieve breakpoints above.
Other talents and blessings can be swapped freely as they are not needed for breakpoints.
Wrath blessing is a very nice 2nd for hordes.
For VoidStrike only, the Surge blessing procs on both primary and secondary, which means maxing crits is the way to go.
However after further testing Warp Nexus blessing is still worse DPS than Warp Flurry.
Warp Flurry also reduces peril generated during the charge as the time to gain peril in is also shorter.
With VoidStrike and Surge, holding right click and spamming left click is still NOT better than just regular primary fire.
What is way better is secondary fire charging up to half.
Full charge is not so good (going from ~50% charge to 100% charge increases damage by only about 60%. Nowhere near the expected double damage for investing twice the time in charging). You want to maximize the amount of attacks you output to have more opportunities for crits which proc Surge. And also since you have to aim a projectile that can easily miss, better to miss a faster and cheaper cast than a big slow cast.
You can easily swap the Ability to Venting Shriek if you prefer. Same point cost as bubble.
Curio set up: with 240 HP and 30% corruption Res, you can not only survive 4 Pox Bursters (with 4 HP left) but more importantly the first 3 Bursters, will not reduce your max HP below half, and so even if you go down you won't be instantly dead. Just 20% Sniper Res is enough to take one more shot and live too. These may be unlikely but happen all too often when you are disabled. This has greatly increased my chances of not instantly dying from one mistake without all the downsides of a +1 wound curio.
