Description
Punt, a beloved Brawler Ogryn save file of mine that was erased in a storm and subsequent power-cut, whom I have decided to honour with a build using the new Ogryn re-works.
Weapons:
Karsolas Mk II Delver's Pickaxe:
Fast weapons are always good, its why there is such a love for the Combat Blades and Duelling Swords in the community, which is why I have chosen the Karsolas Mk II for this build. The incredible speed and simple left-right swing pattern means that not only is it fast, but we don't have to rely on any complex technical push-attack, heavy-canceling fineness, and we can just unga-bunga our way through hordes.
Its Perks and Blessings also reflect this, with Carapace armour and Flak armour damage helping us to cut through any elites we encounter and lets us tree-shot crushers. For Blessings, we combine Headtaker and Slaughterer for an incredible 65% power at max stacks, which, with the weapons base values and the scaling in the talent tree makes this thing stupid strong, much like Punt.
Finally, Stats... you'll want to dump Defences since they are almost always bad on melee weapons, not much more to it.
Lorenz Mk V Kickback:
In reality, any ranged weapon works with this build. But I think that the Kickback works really well, as it lets us evaporate any of those annoying mid-range specials like Trappers and Flamers, as well as stagger, or even kill any pesky snipers.
The Perks help with this, as Maniac damage and Flak armour damage applies to most specials, letting us deal with them faster. Whereas the Blessings are less essential, especially since the Kickback has such a bad selection already. I've chosen Full Bore and Surgical with the former letting us deal a nice portion of damage to those specials that get a bit too close, and the latter letting us counter-snipe those annoying snipers slightly better than normal.
As for Stats, dump Mobility, as we will mostly be running into melee and so will, have our melee equipped instead
Curios:
For Curios, you'll want to be running 2 Toughness and 1 Stamina, with each Curio having Combat Ability Regen, Toughness and Stamina Regen. While the others are more-or-less standard, the Stamina Curio is due to the skill tree, and us wanting to keep our stamina high for maximum benefits.
