5-8% toughness on Chained Hit.
Hitting at least 3 enemies with an attack, increases your cleave by 140-200% for 2 seconds.
Target receives 1-4 Stacks of 2.5% Brittleness on direct projectile hit. Debuff lasts for 5 seconds and can have a maximum of 16 stacks.
Each chained melee hit with the gauntlet adds a stack which increases Melee Strength by 2-5%. Stacks 10 times and each stack lasts for 1.5 seconds.
I ended up realizing my 'Indomitable Butcher' and my 'Indomitable Gauntlet' builds where basically the same build, with a one talent change difference and a different knife blessing because of it. Thus, I decided to consolidate them together, and thus get the best of both worlds mostly! I take Savage Sweep on the knife, so it lets you 'save a point' not taking the final upgrade to Heavy Hitter (which isn't needed) and allows you to do other things with it. As such, I decided to actually go ahead and make a 'Grenader Gauntlet' melee build on top of the knife build. Instead of the 'blast radius focus on stagger with shield' support set up, or the 'maximize punch explosion' set it, it focuses entirely on 'as much melee damage as possible!' while still having good survivability. And to still encourage swapping back and forth between it and the Knife, I 'save a point' by taking Confident Strike on it and moving The Best Defence talent into Trample instead. The Cleaver thusly runs into issues against heavily armored targets though, but that's what the Gauntlet is for though with Shattering Impact! You can either use it to kill said heavy armor, or you can fire of a punch into the target then finish it off with the knife thanks to the armor shred it provided, so either way it works out quite well. And finally, Steady Grip is taken to help with 'Poxburster/sniper moments', and lets you top off your toughness while shooting down gunners.Beyond that, push attack into light heavy string for the Cleaver to kill waves, light into heavy or just spam lights with the gauntlet will get you good damage too. A starting heavy into a light for the Gauntlet gets you good strike down damage especially after an armor shredding punch, or just doing said 'alt fire' and blowing things away with the grenade itself. Alternating between it all gets you constant armor shred and high amounts of hits and damage, especially with Gauntlet Momentum only dropping one stack at a time so you can keep your damage for a pretty good amount of time. Just charge into the enemy, smack them all to death, and blow up what you need to to keep the giblets flowing. Outside of that, just standard 'keep self alive' talents as normal, and Bomb Box for revives and stagger/lag stunning mixed hordes so you can deal with them easier. the Gauntlet deals with far off targets well enough so no need to try and force rock in, but one can if one has issues landing super far off sniper hits. I also uses the Cleaver IV instead of the III for varieties sake, it's harder to get to it's cleave combo but it's overhead is still very good and readily available by doing a 'punch' into a heavy, so just have to push more which is just fine. One can even do a 'stab' light after the heavy too which feels quite good, as you can string it together until the target dies. Overall, I think the 'combo' and merging of these two builds was a good idea! Saves me a build slot for other things, and still lets both of these weapons shine together, as they each cover what the other doesn't very well. One clears large waves and keeps your toughness maxed, the other blows all the armor away or dents it hard enough to kill. A solid merger!
