Current Assail build I’m running in Auric Maelstrom modes. Very curious how this could play with the recent changes to havoc, and the recent buff to assail.


Lot of interchangeable things, but the talent selection mostly maximizes your damage with assail and soul blaze, plus some good support and crit picks


Dueling sword with Thrust is such a good pick for my playstyle, it helps out because I can charge massive hits and single out High value targets. Love charging it to max 3bstacks and hitting an enemy in the head to trigger Uncanny Strike . You don’t need to use this for much more than close range anti special and elite, movement around the map, and the occasional ad kill.


I picked the electrokinetic force staff for quick single target damage, and it does do well at removing basic range enemies from behind pesky cover and out of reach locations. It also has good stagger and does well at stopping certain enemies from even attacking, really good against maniacs, gunner type enemies, and disablers.( I do think it needs a buff still) 


With Warp Splitting and Empowered Psionics , you will be cleaving between 6-8 enemies sometimes I believe. So hordes will get slammed when you have about 70-100% peril.


Plus with Battle Meditation  removing quell ok kill, and Empowered Psionics giving free shots of assail, you have great blitz ammo Efficiency and will have them often.


picked the shield because it’s still meta and the shield really bridges the gap in assistance especially when your running off meta builds like this one.


I’ll probably start playing havoc soon to see its results, but if anyone is at havoc 40, please give this build a try!
