5-8 Bleed Stacks on Critical Hit.
12-24% Rending on Enemy Weak Spot Hit for 3.5s. Stacks 5 times.
5-8% Strength for every 10% of magazine spent during continuous fire. Stacks 5 times.
Up to 2-5% Strength, scaling with remaining Ammunition. Stacks 5 times.
This is my favorite variation of the Martyrdom Zealot build. It's great at killing bosses, clearing hordes, and can special snipe very well.
Pros: High damage, mobility, and survivability.
Cons: Using the Flamer doesn't grant immediate horde clear like the Rumbler and it makes crossfiring against gunners nearly impossible (you'll pretty much always be pushing into gunners with any one of your abilities).
Weapons
In this build you should use the Dueling Sword, Combat Blade, or Tactical Axe because they all come with intrinsic talents that scale really well with crit.
For your ranged weapon you're limited to the Flamer if you want to be competitive, but a case can be made for the Boltgun, Bolt Pistol, or Revolver.
Curios
Grab 3 Wounds Curios and take Ability Cooldown, Stamina Regeneration, Gunner Damage Resistance (just in case), Sprint Efficiency, and Block Efficiency. You're going to be using your ability whenever it's up so you really want as much cooldown reduction as you can get and stacking stamina benefits makes surviving much easier.
Talents
Right now there is only one build path for the Zealot if you want to run the most optimal setup possible and it involves us taking Scourge, Second Wind, and Blades of Faith at LEAST. Normally you would take Enduring Faith as well but I swap it out for I Shall Not Fall later on in the tree because I find that you don't need both sources of toughness damage resistance and I Shall Not Fall is more reliable because it's always on.
Hop over to the other side of the tree so that you can grab Duellist, Until Death, Holy Revenant, and Benediction. These talents increase your damage and survivability dramatically. Until Death and Holy Revenant allow us to play at extremely low health without worrying too much because we effectively have a "cheat death" on a 2 minute cooldown timer.
The Zealot ability of my choice is Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude because it gives me access to Max Toughness or "Gold Toughness" and great Crowd Control. The ability allows you to eliminate Chaos Spawn, Plague Ogryns, and Daemon Hosts by knocking them off ledges and boosts the survivability of your team drastically.
On the far left side you want to take Invocation of Death because it's the crux of every good Zealot build right now. More crits = more cooldown reduction = more abilities = more damage.
On right far right side take Sustained Assault because this plus the Operative Modifier right above it account for an extra 25% increased melee damage, which is very nice.
On the way down to the Martyrdom Keystone (and its modifiers) take Faith's Fortitude because it will give us 2 more wounds for Martyrdom. All things considered it's very easy to run with at least 5 stacks of Martyrdom activated at any given time, giving you a nearly permanent 40% increase in melee damage, 20% increase in attack speed, and 32.5% increase in toughness damage reduction.
