A build I wanted to create after I took the Helbore off my knife build (as it had no purpose there) but still wanted to have a build that used the 'fast fire Helbore'. Thus, I made it into a boosted Infantry Lasgun and took it with Executioners instead!

This build feels rather alright. One needs to be VERY good at hitting weakspots otherwise you'll be burning a lotttt of shots into thin air, but with the addition of Armourbane, even 'misses' can still be useful. This blessing makes the hard hitting Helbore kill in two shots (as per my other build of this type on Kraxton), but with the fast fire one, it's four. But those four shots come out lightning quick, especially if you've already been shooting, and will go down to 3 if you crit twice, so it still makes it feel pretty good, especially since a head shot kills anything else (besides maulers, they function the same as Crushers in terms of number of hits). You can drop Ragers in two hits, one if it's a crit, and with it taking .12 seconds to charge on max 'fire rate', you can just lay out entire hordes of things pretty quick before they even get to you (again, assuming your aim is true/guided by the Emperor).

But when they do get to you though? Well that's where the grenades and pokey end of your weapon come in, and your Duelling Sword when all else fails. Hopefully you have a good enough team with this you can just hide in between them the whole time plinking away, but even if that isn't the case you can always just dance around the enemy using those crits from Reciprocity to kill most things in one swipe of the Duelling sword, or two pokes of the Helbore. And whenever you're ready to switch back, just activate E-stance again, and you'll hot swap at an actually decent speed back to your Helbore, letting you get back to blasting away. I never found it too difficult to always have a CA ready for when I needed to swap, but just in case you swap a bit 'excitedly' and get no cooldown refresh, you can always just hold the weapon out and poke with it until you're ready to swap off. It's honestly not terrible at poking your way through the wave, and feels even better if you pump a shot into the target first for those Brittleness stacks.

This build also functions as an 'infinite ammo' build of sorts, hence me going out of my way to grab the crit node along with Opening Salvo. If you want true infinite use the slow fire one with Surgical instead of Weight of Fire, but as my other build did that just fine I let whatever crit I have active serve me well enough. I've never gone below 1/3rd my ammo reserve in any of my 'test games', though I can usually grab a clip off the ground every so often given this build runs survivalist too and my team mates are easily topped off. Main reason I take it btw is Catch a Breath, having a second source of Toughness regen beyond Confirmed Kill in this game these days is required if you don't want to get steam rolled as a vet, and Catch a Breath does wonders as you dance through bullets keeping your reciprocity active and gunning them down in return with your Helbore shots. It's the main thing keeping E-stance 'functional' these days, and lets one spend points in a better places when One Motion isn't needed, allowing for Shock Trooper too be grabbed which is very nice.

But yeah, I waxed and waned enough about a build that's just 'plink head poke/dash away otherwise', but here's all of it explained. One can swap the 5% node for Rending Strikes/Superiority Complex if they want to along with Kill Zone, but I wanted this to be 'crit' focused along with get more use out of Shocktrooper, and so long as you're accurate the only breakpoints that are augmented are the ones above (Crushers/Maulers) when E-stance is active, so I'm good with this. Probably one of the two 'most functional' Helbore builds, outside of swapping E-stance for shout above and grabbing complex. But, already got an 'interesting' shout variant, so E-stance it is, and it feels 'good enough' for the novelty of it. Quick shot sniper, that weakens armor for your team so Monstrosities/big targets go down easy, the perfect back line slayer/support.
