Description
Not meta, this may be the farthest thing from the meta, but I love dealing big damage with a fully charged special heavy with the shovel. The shovels haven't received any adjustments since the Brutal Momentum nerf in October 2023, and as a result, is vastly outclassed by all other weapons in the ogryn's arsenal.
Update: Build has been changed to take the nerfs to No Hurting Friends! and Soften Them Up into account and supplement the lost damage with Trample and Hard Knocks. You now have a lower Cleave and a more difficult set up to deal with bosses, but the damage is still pretty good.
Due to the health buff to Crushers in September 2025, it is very nearly impossible to one-shot them with the shovel's folded mode. Without Trample 's buff, the most you will be able to do is 5785 damage with a fully charged folded mode special without Crunch! and 6229 damage with.
