Overview:"Be a good varlet, move quickly, shoot people in the face, conserve ammo, spam frag grenades in a pinch, intercept those pesky trappers, and sneak revive your team mates."Stamina?Stamina is drained when you aim down sights. Get headshots to regain stamina, dodge ranged attacks to also regain stamina. Why so stamina?Because Dead-eye. Dead eye makes your gun gain a flat 25% crit chance while you're aimed down sights. Ignoring any other factors, if you ADS spam fire into a horde, 1 in every 4 shots is a critical hit. On top of that, your gun does a whole lot extra headshot damage if its a crit thanks to the Deadly-Accruate blessing. You also get increased crit chance, which stacks to a guaranteed crit after every headshot because of the head-hunter blessing.Crit schmitd, who cares?Me. I want to shoot as often as I breath, and that is a ammo-unfriendly life style. Getting a crit will not consume ammo thanks to the shock trooper skill.Crits are not hits. You don't need to land a hit for the shot to be a 'crit.' So if you miss your shot, and it is a hit, you still don't consume any ammo. The extra damage is just a nice bonus to your miserly ammo expenditure. Oh, also, thanks to Onslaught shooting armored enemies like crushers and maulers, you can debuff their armor by applying brittleness stacks. Very handy as it will not only let you deal more damage through their armor, but it also gives any team mates attacking the enemy the same benefit.Survivability? You're a little guardsman creature, which means you're squishy. Thankfully, you have two skills that give you toughness back for every headshot kill. (Exhilarating Takedown + Tunnel Vision.)You also get the Infiltrate ability, which you use to get yourself out of trouble, or to get your buddies out of a bind by going invisible to your enemies so you can skedaddle over and stealth revive them. This is also useful for intercepting enemies, like trappers, since you get a movement speed bonus. Thanks to Low Profile you get an extended grace period of being ignored for 10s after leaving stealth. 'Very very clutch in a pickle. You get 2 charges of infiltrate, so use your first when you have to, and keep a spare charge for when you really have to. Final notes:This is a build I made while inspired by the 110th Stealth Cadian regiment armor set, so I made some choices I thought might make sense for their store page lore. (frag grenades, lasgun, knife, etc.) The basic idea was to use some pretty bare bones run of the mill guardsman stuff, but I eventually made it into a fun fast paced ranged build centered around headshots (which I usually yawn at.) While I have been refining this build, I have been playing on 4s and 5s with randoms. This has landed me top damage dealt, top boss damage, most weak enemies killed, and other fun offensive scores.I'm not sure how it will perform in havocs, or maelstroms, but so far it's been a fun and effective build. Thanks for reading, and I hope this built was interesting.
