Someone told me to put this build on GamesLantern.
Going for both Confirmed Kill and Out for Blood allows you to get some high amounts of toughness generation when you use your grenades with mixed hordes.
Reaching for Serrated Blade probably isn't optimal but it lets us always have a way to benefit from Mercy Killer without using a blessing slot for (more likely) Lacerate or (less likely) Flesh Tearer. I like running it this way, personally.
Twinned Blast probably isn't optimal but it sure is funny.
Try to keep 2 grenades used so Demolition Team doesn't proc on a nearly-complete Demolition Stockpile timer. Demolition Team probably has better talents than it on difficulties below Auric-tier missions, but I like only having one variant of a given build in my loadouts.
When you throw a grenade and the situation allows, keep your Bolt Pistol out until it goes off because it benefits from Lethal Proximity. This combined with Grenade Tinkerer gives it a funny amount of range. After the grenade goes off, swap to to the Combat Blade if you didn't have it out and mulch enemy heads with light attacks to maximize bleed damage due to Uncanny Strike. If there's specials or elites, use the push attack + bleed for quick kills if you have the stamina or just use heavies if you don't.
I don't know if Rending Strikes does much but it makes the insectoid section of my brain feel good if I take it.
Curios are pretty standard. Combat Ability Regen's never bad, Toughness is never bad, and Stamina Regen is never bad. 2 Toughness, 1 Stamina curio lets you have plenty of push attacks in combination with talents while not compromising your defenses.
If you decide to scrap Serrated Blade, its connecting Melee Damage node, and Twinned Blast or Rending Strikes, probably go for Desperado. I haven't tried it but the Finesse bonus would help close the gap from losing a consistent proc for Mercy Killer.
