FEATURES

  • Free extra point for user consideration.
  • Stamina consumption/blocking regen engine.
  • Enemy stagger on any weakspot hit, feeding further damage, damage mitigation, and accessory toughness regen.
  • Team utility with K9 synergistic kills for more toughness regen and AoE electric damage stuns, feeding into the maul's electric proc benefits.
  • Use K9 to soften up specialists and tougher armor for brittleness and electric proc, CC, and stagger feeding the stagger engine even more. Even greater bonus if you proc Blitz on crowd of them and close in with maul for electric damage bonus.
  • Blessings on shotpistol make it more sniper-capable. Great for elites, specialists, and monstrosities esp with K9 coordination.
  • Break the Line used to make space, induce mass stagger for mop up, regen toughness in a specialist/elite engagement + feed stamina/stagger engine.

Edit 1: moved perk point from Kill Order (dog damage window on ability use) to soulguilt scan (weakspot damage) for more consistent Auric level breakpoints. You are welcome to move this back to K9 damage on ability use if you prefer it.

 

I highly recommend either picking up the early +10% ranged damage node in the tree with your free extra point, or changing out the Shotpistol Run n' Gun blessing with a damage one for more consistent Auric and higher specialist breakpoints. In the case you don't take the ranged damage point, here are some alternate extra point recommendations for a more well-rounded kit:
