YOU ARE THE WALL. Use Break the Line and Shield special action to crowd control enemies and get the fuck in there. Dogsplode on bosses or mixed hordes with bolt pistol out to apply bleeds. Curio perks don't matter that much, I just put health to make it more tanky, but works well with just about anything on the 3rd perk slot.
