Latrine Shovel:

The latrine shovel is a really good all rounder weapon when you know how to use it. The blessings I have on it make it so that the longer you hold a heavy attack the more damage it will do, which is amazing against Ogryn-sized and monstrous enemies. It's not as brainless as the Bully Club, but in my opinion, is a lot more fun when you get comfortable.

CC:

for crowd control against large groups of pox-walkers and lower level mobs, all normal heavy attacks are wide attacks swinging left -> right or right -> left. Against hordes of little guys, you don't need to worry about charging it and can just spam it as quickly as you can start the HA animation. The Brutal Momentum blessing also buffs you for targeting head level to hit weakspot for extra damage and cleave. If mobs like ragers get mixed in, you can start charging your Heavy Attacks a bit more for extra damage and your taunt ability staggers them and makes them take more damage from all sources.

Heavy Armored Enemies:

When you start getting pushed by Maulers, Crushers, or Bulwarks, the Latrine shovel is perfectly suited for quickly dealing with them one at a time. If you activate the Latrine Shovel's special ability you make your next swing a guaranteed strikedown, and when you charge the heavy attack, you'll be one-tapping EVERYTHING. The only downside is the need to activate the shovel after each attack if you're facing off against multiple of these enemies, but as long as you keep dodging back, or use your ability to stagger them after your opening attack, you should be able to get in a couple more to thin the herd.

Hitting Crushers in the head with the activated shovel is probably one of the most satisfying things to do, and you don't need to charge it very long because you're stacking the bonus damage from your +25% damage to Carapace enemies perk, the damage bonus from charged heavy attack, and the bonus damage if you hit their weakspot (head).

For Unyielding enemies, the Plague Ogryn, Beast of Nurgle, Chaos Spawn, and Enemy Captains, you'll also do +25% damage from your perk and combining your blessings by hitting weakspots which is the head for everything except the Beast of Nurgle's back pimple, you'll be CHUNKING through their health rapidly.

Kickback

The Kickback is one of my favorite ranged weapons for the Ogryn alongside the Rumbler. Since the Latrine shovel is what I use for targeting large sized enemies, the Kickback is my choice for dealing with anything at range due to it's huge spread, and very nice damage. It's a one-shot weapon, but if you're holding LMB through the reload you'll keep firing stacking buffs from your blessings to grant you more damage, and restore toughness while you shoot.

If you find that you don't need the bonus toughness from Inspiring Barrage, then you could trade that blessing for something like Terrifying Barrage which will suppress any enemies within 8m upon getting a close-ranged kill, making it so if they start piling up around you, kill a guy close by, and the crowd will cower for a second giving you a moment to create space and keep firing or swap to melee. You could also use Full Bore for bonus damage when every pellet hits the same enemy, but given the large spread, they'd have to be pretty close, and at that point, I usually am already using the shovel.

The Kickback with the perks granting bonus damage to Flak and Maniac enemies make it so that you will one-shot most enemies smaller than Ogryns at close range aside from the Mauler. You'll shoot through crowds, and one-shot disablers coming at you, and if you've fired a couple times, and built a couple stacks of Blaze Away, even ragers will be falling in a single shot.

Snipers, Heavy gunner, and Reapers are always pests for Ogryns, but the Kickback can take out groups of Gunners in a single shot if they're grouped up and not too far, otherwise two shots should do. Snipers have incredibly low health so even at their long range, you can still one-shot or two-shot them. If you're first shot doesn't kill them, it'll still stagger them for a second giving you an opportunity to follow-up with a second shot, or deal with another threat quickly before returning your attention to the sniper.

Blitz Ability (Grenades)

I like using the rock because it one-shots mutants and ragdolls them in hilarious ways, and also one-shots pox-bursters, but the Kickback is also good against Mutants with the bonus damage to Maniacs, and handle pox-bursters pretty well if you don't want to wait for them to get close enough to block-push during their dive.

A more practical Blitz would be to use the Bombs Away! node, giving you boxes of grenades that break into 6-9 grenades which will go off in sequence staggering and damaging enemies in proximity. It one-taps enemies aside from Crushers and Monstrosities if you hit them in the head with it.
