Description
Description is still a work in progress since I can't figure out the fucking syntax of this site.
This is the build I use in Havoc 40s to decent success, the only issues I tend to run into are Ragers/Mualers which I'm fairly certain is my own skill issue, and the unseen pox burster.
First off what this build is meant to do is bring a lot of utility and carapace stopping power to your team, this build with everything proced can two heavy tap a crusher but more often average a 3 tap. Even if your light spamming as long as you are aiming for weakspots that crusher or bulwark is locked down and not going to kill your team unless it has the stagger immunity modifier.
The first node bundle in our tree we pick up a lot of our livability traits here, from "Up Close" to "Force of Will" which should be proced on almost any horde member your fighting. Remember the Lexicon instructs us to always use our head, and beat the head of the criminal in.
Now the "Controversial" take in this build is that I run Mastiff.
While the dog is not the release bomb it was, it still applies a lot of benefits in utility and not only for yourself but also your Team.
- The mastiff will not get off a pounced unit unless ordered to attack another target, it will stay on a pounced unit till it dies in its jaws or you seek it on another unit, thus removing the pounced unit from the gameplay.
- If you seek the dog on a Bulwark you force them to drop their shield, this is espically useful in the Bulwark pile bundles that can happen in havoc 40, letting your team deal damage to them.
- Dog will also Stagger Reaper from being able to spin their mini-gun up, thus removing that threat from the board.
- If you have a horde of Flak criminal scum on you preventing you from shooting an elite criminal hiding behind them, sick the dog on them.
- The ICBM Mk1 Mastiff knows where it is, because it knows where it isn't.
