Talent Tree
Description
This is probably the most cancer build you can run in the entire game. It means you'll concentrate most kills and often more than 50% of all damage dealt.
It's possible to run high Havoc with it, but it's not advised. On my tests, it performs pretty well and has impressive survivability if you have any room for movement, but your team will die. Bubble has increased value in havoc and, unless you have another psyker to shield, this build requires too much coordination between team members to work on Havoc 30+. On Auric, however, you'll destroy everything by yourself.
Gameplay
Psyker relies on Empathic Evasion and Crit Chance to stay alive, so Warp Nexus was mandatory as a blessing for the Inferno Staff. Now that the talent tree gives easier access to additional Crit Chance with Souldrinker and a small node, you can swap Warp Nexus for Penetrating Flame to amplify the damage of your entire team. You can swap Unyielding Damage for Carapace as one of the Staff Perks if the mission has rotten armor or melee only modifiers (in case you have someone else to kill bosses), but keep in mind that you can damage multiple bosses at the same time with your dots.`
Venting Shriek has 24m of range in a wide arc in front of you. The main use for it is when you apply 15 stacks of soulblaze to any group of mobs with your staff, you can use it to overcap to 21 stacks and beyond (+6 stacks if peril is higher than 84%).
You can stagger enemies, save people from Hounds through walls, start the brain burst chain reaction from distance and much more.
Melee
The dagger can use Bleed on Crit and Maniac Damage if you do prefer. The idea is that you won't be using it too much to kill, just for pushing enemies and for movement. The mark VI has an amazing push attack that you can spam infinitely (that's why you take stamina regen on curios). You need the mobility to compensate for the short range of the staff by running-dodging to catch groups of enemies. The dagger is there to keep you alive and to allow some clutching potential: if you're the last survivor, use it to reach higher ground, flame a bit, jump down when mobs get closer, flame again. Use staff's primary to stagger Berserkers and Maulers and to apply Empyric Shock damage boost.
