Divider

This build is to be used on map that are close engagement centered, lots of choke point and with a huge presence of melee enemies (rotten armour, stims).

You can take care of everything coming in close range and for anything else at medium/long range, I find the MK7 (longer range shotgun) to really shine even on havoc. Quick swap, good damage, really good cleave AND the special ammo inflicts brittleness :)

NB: edit : I find the bolt pistol to be a better option at picking specialist and gunners than the shotgun simply due to the way the pellets of the shotgun are really rough for long range, where it could take up to 3 shots sometimes to actually kill a target that would have otherwise been killed by 1 bolt to the head with the pistol.

Also the pistol comes out much faster and gives you more movement speed than the boltgun while still packing quite a punch.
