Introduction:

This build makes the psyker a very useful support/damage role by crowd controlling packs of armored enemies, clearing hordes and occasionally taking out elites and specialists that are out of range or not being focused by other players. At the cost of Telekine Dome it can annihilate large hordes with Venting Shriek and the Creeping Flames subnode. You can optionally swap these abilities for a different approach.


Weapons:

  • The Deimos Mk IV Blaze Force Sword with Deflector & Uncanny Strike combined with 25% Damage (Maniacs) & 20% Block Efficiency perks provides an opportunity to retreat from massive gunfire and make mutant kills easier as well as quickly dispose of armored enemies that fall near you from staff secondary attacks (light attack chained with heavy attack are two quick stabs). Also if you always want to be battle ready roll for 1/60% Warp Resistance stat, then you can simple use two special attacks to get up to ~60% peril.
     
  • The Equinox Mk III Voidblast Force Staff with Warp Nexus & Blazing Spirit combined with 10-25% Damage (Flak Armoured Enemies) & Increase Ranged Critical Strike Chance by 2-5% is ultimate crowd control tool and DoT source also counter far positioned gunners (spam few primary attacks and forget)

Playstyle:

  • Spam primary for single target and long range
  • Spam secondary for hordes and close range
  • Combine both for armored enemies and boss damage (Channeled Force & Empyric Shock)
  • Stack soulblaze on crits
  • Crits also provide damage and tougness (Perfect Timing & Souldrinker)
  • Balance on high peril (Warp Nexus & Warp Rider)
  • Unleash Venting Shriek on max peril when ecountering big hordes to stack up even more soulblaze
  • Kinetic Flayer really helps to get rid of specialists in mixed hordes and random places (even when out of sight jumping soulblaze stacks can kill them)

Note: don't mind curios set up if you're not playing havocs its for more hp pool becouse of reduced tougness.
