my take on a darktide version of vermintide's unchained sienna. this is a versatile frontline build that is capable of tanking high amounts of damage, melting hordes, and staggering enemies.

 

play around your peril. when you can afford to (i.e not taking damage/threat) keep yourself at high peril by weaving in staff attacks/sword specials to deal the most damage possible. when you ARE taking damage/threat, you can tank just about whatever the game throws at you by simply blocking and using shriek when at critical peril. 

you can use your sword special at any peril level with relatively low risk, even 90+ peril, provided shriek is off cd. special -> swing -> shriek is awesome for horde clearing.

your ability to control crowds is s+++. your shriek is on a 15s cd on average, your staff light has great stagger, and your push block is strong af. really get in there and remember you can use shriek to help your teammates get out of bad situations.

 

combos:

hordes: staff light -> sword light x3 -> repeat

single target: staff light ->sword heavy spam

you do keep your stacks of shred when switching to staff!! 

staff scales better the larger the horde, so weave in more staff lights as horde size increases
