You can also use this same build with a Plasma Gun.
If possible, position yourself behind monstrosities, bosses, crushers for 30% bonus damage, and let it rip.
Leave at least 1 round in the gun on a reload, you have a total of 65% faster reload speed for 2 second reloads.
Mk VI Power Sword has the Push Attack > Light 4 combo for a thrust > overhead combo that will kill everything from ragers to mutants to crushers in 2 hits, with headshots.
Power up > light > light > light (Light 1, 2, 3) is usually fastest for clearing hordes, but if there's lots of armor mixed in, Power up > heavy > heavy > heavy is better.
If there's something dangerous in the horde like a rager, try Power Up > Block > Light > Light > Light (Light 2 3 4), where 4 is the overhead strikedown attack with high finesse, high armor penetration that's great for quickly taking out tough targets.
Get good at dodging trash mobs while shooting at something else to maintain +25% crit chance from Reciprocity.
